35 Migrants received Indian Citizenship

Indore: Pakistan national Sindhi community migrants living in city are awaiting for Indian Citizenship. Total number of mingrants is over six thousand. Central govt. authorised District Collector to take final decision about Indian Citizenship. District Collector statred the procedure and first batch of 35 migrants received Indian citizenship certificate. Pak migrants received citizenship certificate from Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan at a ceremony held at Pujya Jackababad panchayat bhawan. Addressing the function collector Nishant Warwade said that the continuous efforts of LS Speaker this facility could be made available and with her support this tenor can further be extended. District administration has received NOCs from Pakistan high commission for 342 cases. Mayor Malini Gaud and IDA chairman and Sindhi community leader Shankar Lalwani also addressed the gathering.
